Modernist-inspired AESOP store in Lausanne

Each Aesop boutique is a destination in itself ! The brand new Aesop store in Lausanne is no exception ; a new universe with its natural scents and warm atmosphere opens as soon as you pass the door.

Since 1987, the brand has settled down in many cities all over the world, always with the aim to create a unique space matching its environement. The immersion in each local culture has led the different architects to adapt the design as well as the material. Among this impressive architectural diversity, all boutiques have in common their sustainable design, their sleek lines and least but not last, their welcoming ambience.

In the heart of Lausanne, it is a vintage pearl that opens its doors a few weeks ago. Inspired by Gio Ponti’s Royal Continental Hotel in Naples, the Aseop design team led by the architect Marion Mouny has transformed this 17 sqm space into a modernist-inspired boutique.

The concrete walls contrast with the warm and softly curved wooden structure where brass details have been added to enlighten the maple wood and give a luxurious effect. While the high ceiling and ladder recall an old apothecary, vintage furniture such as the Venini lamps and Art Deco stools complete the elegant interior. On the minimalist shelves, the now famous brown glass bottles are carefully displayed to delight the eyes.

This new beauty destination will indulge all of your senses. Definitely a must in Lausanne, because a high-quality beauty treat is always needed !
