At Liliana Belchior’s, an ode to craftsmanship

Founder and creative director of Taste of Portugal, Liliana Belchior welcomes us in her beautiful home located in the charming Swiss town of Solothurn and presents her new entrepreneurial venture.

Enlightened by the sunlight, the spacious appartment reflects her passion for interior. True to her style, each room is beautifully styled and perfectly combines the trendy Scandinavian aesthetic with a Southern touch. Design classics harmoniously mixed with handcrafted home accessories, while fresh flowers brighten up the atmosphere. Cosy and inspiring, that is where she established her home office and launched Taste of Portugal.

Born in Portugal and growing up in Switzerland, she has been travelling between both countries a lot, enjoying the best parts of each. Last year, she started her lifestyle blog gathering traveling suggestions and not-to-be-missed spots for creative minds that want to visit Portugal, giving thus an authentic insight into Portuguese culture.

Soon after, she decided to support even more the design community of her home country, by selling online a carefully selected range of products made in Portugal with passion. These handcrafted creations are locally produced in small series and thanks to Taste of Portugal, now also available in Switzerland.

If you are heading to Solothurn Film Days from January 19 to 26, these city tips are for you. Liliana recommends to stop at Baseltor for lunch or dinner and on the way to have a look at the beautiful Flores flower shop next door and at the interior boutique Kerzen Jeger.
