Matter & Shape 2025

In the heart of the Jardin des Tuileries, MATTER and SHAPE has gathered design enthusiasts and collectors in Paris, for its second edition. Initiated by Frederic Maus and directed by Matthieu Pinet, with creative direction by Dan Thawley, the international salon bridges the worlds of design, crafts, and fashion. With a distinctive cross-disciplinary approach, it explores the contemporary design landscape at the crossroad of industry and craft, creativity and commerce.

Designed by Canadian architect Willo Perron, the two pavilions offer a refined showcase to over 50 carefully selected exhibitors, and host the ephemeral restaurant WE ARE ONA. Spanning the disciplines of industrial and object design, interior design, fashion and the decorative arts, established names and emerging talents exhibit exceptional pieces crafted with care that highlight a constant formal research, may they be collectible selections or industrial collections. In a confidential atmosphere, the salon MATTER & SHAPE provides captivating insights into the global design scene.
